Marketing and Sales Manager

Job Description

Edunation is actively seeking a motivated, high energy individual to support our efforts for Software marketing & sales. As a senior marketing and sales professional , you will be responsible for selling software products and services to Schools & Universities.

The ideal candidate should have experience selling technical consulting services, a professional who has the demonstrated ability to identify and develop strategic relationships, personally contact and secure new business accounts/customers, sell business solutions consultatively, and generate dynamic sales growth.

Marketing and Sales Manager Job Duties

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the company products/services.
  • Reach out to customers to understand current challenges and future opportunities.
  • Work with technical teams to articulate business problems, develop use cases, and document requirements.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, and of technology which enables engaging, cross channel, and results driven marketing experiences.
  • Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Help develop advertising, promotions, social media and public relations activities, and marketing material including marketing brochures and catalogues.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a technology field.
  • At least 2 years direct sales experience with a focus on software products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the sales cycle including prospecting, proposing, closing, and further developing an account.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the value proposition, organizational strengths and capabilities of the services offered.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Gulf region with occasional travel to the US
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, impactful presentation and speaking skills.
  • Previous work in the education sector , Schools, universities and educational institutions is considered an important advantage.

  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
